Jewish Family Service has been able to meet the essential needs of friends, family and neighbors in the community for over a century through our generous donors.
Every contribution, no matter the size, has the potential to transform the lives of those struggling with life’s challenges. A donation to our annual campaign, specific program or endowment, or a tribute in honor of a friend or loved one are some ways you can make a difference. You might also consider donating your car, checking if your employer will match your gift, or providing a corporate sponsorship for an event.
Pay A Tribute To Someone You Love
There’s no better way to honor, remember or recognize the ones you love and appreciate than with a Jewish Family Service tribute card. Tributes may be purchased in two ways: JFS can send a tribute for you OR you can purchase a set of cards which will be mailed to you for your own use.
1861 Society
JFS was established in 1861. Supporters who provided a minimum gift of $1,861 from July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026 are members of the JFS 1861 Society. This special group enables JFS to serve our clients and community with professionalism and compassion as we have for the past 164 years. All members will be recognized on our website, at all fundraising events, in select eblasts, in our annual report, and more!
Planned Giving Society
Our Planned Giving Society members are a group of individuals who have planned ahead to ensure that people and families who are struggling will always have a place to receive the support they need to live with dignity and security. By leaving a legacy, you can ensure that the important work you cherish and support today will exist in the future.
Major Gifts Society
JFS Major Gifts Society is comprised of donors who, in a given year, make a minimum contribution of $10,000 or more to support JFS MetroWest or a particular JFS MetroWest program.

Dedicate a Mezuzah
We’ve officially started the move into our new offices—both of our new locations in Florham Park and West Orange have received their official operating licenses and are open for in-person counseling sessions.
As we open new doors—literally and figuratively—we invite you to be part of this milestone in a meaningful way. You can dedicate a mezuzah, a symbol of protection, peace, and purpose. It’s a lasting tribute that honors our shared values and commitment to the community we serve.
In-Kind Donations
JFS appreciates and prefers financial contributions so that any goods or services needed can be secured in a consistent, structured, and strategic manner to best support and/or empower the recipients.
JFS accepts in-kind donations on a case-by-case basis. All items donated must be consistent, individually wrapped, and brand new. We do not accept donations of individual items, including furniture or household items.
We do accept donations of items for our Holiday Packages for homebound older adults.
