The History of Jewish Family Service of MetroWest

In recognition of its 150th anniversary in service to the community, Jewish Family Service of MetroWest, through the generosity of a donor, commissioned a compendium detailing the fascinating history of JFS from 1861 to the present. Comprised of two parts, “Path of Service” and “Fabric of Care,” the compendium features interesting narrative and interviews, captivating photos and a timeline, all of which deliver the history of JFS in a compelling way, from its origins as an orphanage to its present day stature as the MetroWest community’s premier mental health and social service agency.

Rediscovering Voices: Stories of Holocaust Survivors

“Rediscovering Voices: Stories of Holocaust Survivors” brought survivors together for memoir writing groups. From these “fragments” – snippets of their lives, before, during and after the war – came forth three extraordinary publications.
