Volunteer Opportunities
YOU can make a tremendous difference in the lives of needy individuals by sharing your compassion and expertise. All volunteers receive ongoing supervision and training to assist them in their efforts.
JFS Volunteer Opportunities:
Roles for volunteers continue to develop as the agency expands its services. Whether it is for time-limited or on-going projects, JFS volunteers assist in many rewarding ways. To learn more, contact JFS Volunteer Coordinator Suzy Berman at 973-637-1747 or email.

Caldwell LIVE Volunteer Opportunities:
Caldwell LIVE, a federally funded program for older adults, is seeking volunteers to help continue two of its local programs: a walking club and a community calendar of senior oriented events. If you are interested, please contact Roberta Schoenberg, the LIVE site coordinator, at 973-403-0972 or by email.
Caldwell LIVE Walking Club Leaders
The Walking Club meets from 10 to 11 on Wednesday mornings at Congregation Agudath Israel, 20 Academy Road in Caldwell. Volunteers are needed to lead a group of 10 to 15 older adults in warm-up and cool down exercises and in walking through the building. The leader will facilitate sign-in and be the liaison with the Congregation for the walking program. The group is presently led by a staff person from JCC MetroWest. Training provided.
Caldwell LIVE Calendar
A volunteer is needed to collect upcoming event information from local agencies and produce a monthly calendar to distribute to older adults in the area. Training and appropriate software will be provided, and a template for the calendar has been developed. The volunteer should have access to a computer. Coordinating the calendar requires approximately 3 to 4 hours per month. United Jewish Communities of MetroWest will print and email the calendar to people and places in the Caldwell area.
