Support Groups

In recognition of the importance of having a supportive community for comfort when problems arise, JFS offers a wide variety of support groups in the community as well as in local synagogues, sister agency settings, and/or schools. People feel supported in a group. There is room for discussion of issues of common concern and empathic understanding from those who share your situation. All support groups are facilitated by our professional clinical staff.

Typical support groups offered include:

  • Caregivers
  • Separation/Divorce/Remarriage
  • Parenting
  • Social Skills
  • Special Needs
  • Aspergers
  • Blended Families
