We're Here To Help
Helping Kids with Their Behavioral Challenges
When a child exhibits behavioral problems in the classroom, or when grades begin to decline, school-based services from Jewish Family Service can help.
Providing a Range of Support Services
Schools may ask JFS to provide: classroom observation of children who are experiencing academic and behavioral problems in class, teacher consultation, in-service training for teachers, as well as on-site counseling to students. When indicated, JFS can work with the school to meet with the parents of children and discuss educational plans, resource room issues, enrichment, remediation, psychological testing, and/or Child Study Team evaluations. JFS is a consultant with The Partnership for Jewish Learning and Life.
