In recognition of the importance of having a supportive community for comfort when problems arise, Jewish Family Services offers a wide variety of support groups.
In support groups, there is room for discussion of issues of common concern and empathic understanding from those who share a situation. All support groups are facilitated by our professional clinical staff and are held in JFS offices and community venues including local synagogues and schools.

If you are grieving over the loss of a loved one, support groups can help you to gain insight through shared experiences, and cope better with loss and loneliness.
