JFS presents a Mom's Support Group for mothers of children with special needs. The group offers support and guidance, an opportunity to network with other mothers, information about how to advocate for a special needs child and services and resources available in the community.  The next date is Wednesday, February 8.

Beth Giladi, LCSW, from JFS will facilitate the group.

Verona LIVE will host Take Control of Your Health on Thursdays, February 9 through March 15 from 1:30-4 PM at 100 Hillwood Terrace in Verona.

Adults of all ages living with long-term conditions, as well as caregivers, are encouraged to take part in this free workshop series that will help participants to:
Manage symptoms
Develop healthy eating and exercise habits
Communicate effectively with doctors and healthcare professionals
Manage fear, anger and frustration
Make daily tasks easier
Feel better and enjoy life to the fullest
