Improving Our Community
Our Partners Help Us Do More
Jewish Family Service of MetroWest New Jersey maintains partnerships with a number of MetroWest area community organizations and services. With these partnerships, JFS lends its professional resources to guide, administer, and facilitate needed social services. The following is a list of active partnerships.
When you can no longer care for your special needs family member, Coordinated Care of MetroWest (CCM), through a JFS case manager, will oversee, coordinate and provide personal advocacy for the services, care, and benefits your family member requires, in accordance with a plan that you help create.
Through a partnership with the Mental Health Association of Essex County, Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ has established the Got Blue Collaborative, a committee whose focus is to educate the community about depression and to direct those in need to appropriate community resources.
Hebrew Free Loan of New Jersey has been serving those in financial need in the MetroWest community since 1996 with small loans for a variety of needs.
Metro Transport is a nonprofit community transportation program that provides rides to senior citizens and adults with special needs, regardless of their ability to pay.
Rachel Coalition, which provides social work services and programs around the issue of domestic violence, was formed in 1997 and now combines the resources and commitment of nine partnering agencies.
